The engine/trans in it is a later 225/904. We put a Hurst Promatic cable shifter in it.

Ok.thanks. Saw what happened to EVR at NOLA. Figured I would look and see what I have for spare parts. Such as trns, converter, flexplate, etc. Probably wouldn't bring them down, unless you think I should, but I'm close enough do do a quick parts run if necessary.

That's awesome Charlie! I am considering throwing a spare engine/trans on the trailer... I have one out of an 85 D100. I saw a video of it running... engine and trans are separated and no converter, but should be decent spares if needed...

3.55 Sure Grip with 5x4.5 LBP.

Joe left the 2.76 tag on there to fool the judges...

I would have concerns about a 7 1/4 on a road course. I have aa 3.91 SG I have been building. Still need to set the gear pattern. I'll see if I can get bthe time to get it done, in time for spare. That is the only BBP limited slip rear I have. Most of my rears are either SPB, open or spool.

We ran a 7-1/4" open diff for a couple races with no problem, but I suspect the Toadracer will be putting down faster lap times than we did back then...

Not at Sebring. It’s just a stock motor that’s been sitting for 8-9 years.

Charlie, any chance you can scour your 904 collection for some V8 clutch drums before Sebring? I'm still looking for a set to build up a proper race transmission.

Are you still using the early small input shaft, in the trans?

Yes, everything's original to 1964. As far as I know, the V8 drums are the only thing I'll be able to easily swap in.
