Yes, you got dibs. I seriously doubt I will live long enough to need 4 spare roller chain sets.  Valiant is resting in the garage at home patiently awaiting rewiring.

Yeah,... I wuz crawlin' around one of the local "Pick & Pull" salvage yards & came across this in some kinda ferrin' car. It looked close enough to me, so I cleaned it up & it's gonna make the Challenger go real fast.

Howard sent me this pic last night. Now that the block is decked to get the right 13:1 compression ratio the pistons are sticking up there pretty good. On another note: Howard says his engine has “seen” 9000 RPM and would probably be okay there, but Jay typically shifts at 7000 RPM. They have a roller cam and all sorts of other trickery that works well for that stuff. Every time we talk I lean a little closer to stepping things up just a tad... Maybe next year I’ll do some upgrades. Gotta get it running reliably first. I will likely go pick up the engine this week! Howard has really gone over the top on this. The intent was for me to go up there and just have him show me some things... It has gone quite a bit beyond that!
