I started uncovering the 64 Dart today so visitors can see it a little. Hoping I can get it reassembled for spring... 2 X green 64 Slant Darts at a roadcourse is on the docket for sure! Lou |

7/21/21: Had a pretty Epic Day yesterday - Ran about 150 Miles of Local Country and Mountain Roads with Grüne Hölle on the PVGP Countryside Tour. The car was solid, quick, nimble and stuck to the corners like glue. - much better than doing this event in my '69 Dart After the tour was Over there was a PVGP Car Cruise the next county over at the Waterfront (site of the 1892 Homestead Steelworks Strike) Was able to get some glamour shots of the car in front of the stacks during the "golden hour" which was even a bit more filtered than usual due to the smoke from the wildfires.. Some Pics from the tour: ![]() ![]() ![]() Rest of the day went fine without a problem. and Made it to the farm for lunch. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() glamour shots in homestead: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Was able to share the car cruise fun with kid in tow.... ![]() Greg |

8/15/21: Installed some world famous Andy F / AR Eng. 2⁰ camber washers tonite. So total Camber should now be at -2.75⁰ Was trying to get rid of a touch of understeer. We'll see how it turns out. Signed up for local AutoX 5 miles from the house. Greg |

Sounds great, Greg. Just looked back at your corner wts and am puzzled why it is so skewed to the right side? My 64, Project V (and I think 68 Dart) are nearly 50/50 side-side. Maybe not a level surface for weighing, or scales not zeroed right? Assume you would check those, but just in case. Maybe sway bar, but hard to see how it would be that big a shift. Hmmmm... Lou |

Lou I would like to reweigh it again in my garage - It's very flat there.. Just no Corner scales for me yet. The ones at the Drake Auction surpassed the price of new ones so I let them go to another bidder. Some day.. Greg |

Greg how did you do your alignment, do you take it to a shop, or do you have some garage tools? Not sure if I asked you that before. |

Not sure if I asked you that before. Both. I did the preliminary setup here at home, Then I took it to the shop..It had a bit of a pull to one side. I think If I have better tools there iis no reason I cannot do it myself. I also get a bit impatient with caster / camber. the shop can bang it out in 45 minutes cause that's what they do all day every day. It takes me a good 4 hours to setup and do correctly. I have the camber washers and I can add (or remove) -2° of camber in about a half hour with just a 15/16" wrench, 15/16" socket, and a 3/4 Socket. I may buy another set for -4° total added.. we'll see. Greg |
