Very close to the end. Right after the award they gave to the red new age T-Bird. Roughly 15:30 into it. |

Quick rundown: (thanks to Joe, Adam, Rob, and Brian) 1) Engine pulled, oilpan resealed (obvious rear pan seal leak area), ported head (stock valves and near-stock chambers) installed 2) Shifter cable ordered to replace melted one 3) 11.75" discs and caliper adapters and spare EBC pads ordered 4) Fool with seat mounting and back brace to make changes easier during pit stops For the NCM race in Sept, the plan is to have 20+ more HP on tap, a heat shielded shifter cable, and better brakes. Maybe bigger tires too? No huge changes, but up the ante a bit and keep it reliable. Lou |

Thanks for the update. Don't forget some floor insulation for the drivers feet, and some better interior ventilation. Just a reminder. |

Ah, thanks Charlie! I did not recall the drivers fee problem, but I remember now that they blocked the cowl vent so we need to at least open that up. Lou |

I thought someone mentioned about their feet getting hot.

You could be right. Cowl vent should help that too. Hopefully it will be as reliable as last time (or better) and a bit faster and easier to drive. More powah next after this race. Lou |
