That smoke at Sebring weren't cuz the carb wudn't tuned right... It was cuz there was a heap of oil all over them big exhaust pipes...

Hopefully we've got our leaks more manageable now. Send us an AFR & we'll git 'er in there...

I s'pose since I'm gonna be around fer a spell longer I'd like to get added back to the team roster for NCM, Perfesser... :)

Adam got the wiring done so I can register it. He also got the AFR gauge installed.

I fiddled around with that derned cold air intake ideer sum more. Wound up cuttin’ the hood, but the air cleaner still hit it. I wound up undoing Adam’s highly sophisticated (that means real smart Cookie) throttle and transmission kickdown mount.

I sent him pictures & he said I’d better put my name on it cuz he dudn’t want nobody thinkin’ he dun what I come up with.

ToadRacer is trying out drag racing at Clay City, KY.

Very consistent running 17.01 - 17.08 @ 77 to 79 MPH over 5 passes.

Some carb swapping and timing adjustments were made.

It may need a little more carb tweaking before it’s happy again.

I’ll try to get it registered now so we can do some real world testing.

The Lemons race in Bowling Green is in less than 2 weeks!

I had to trailer it to DMV so I didn’t get in trouble. It’s all legit now, so drive away!!

I just took it for a nice little drive. No major issues.

Carb still needs some tweaking and the valve cover gasket leaks. Otherwise I guess we’re good to go.

I’ll see Team OKR on Zoom in a couple hours.

Thanks Andy. They’re quite comfy too…

ToadRacer’s is starting to get a little battle worn. It just adds to the patina.
