Well, I'd be more than happy to purchase a rotor and take whatever measurements and pictures would need to be taken. I agree with you that my existing stock setup is not the best or safest. Catastrophic failure of the MBC would be very very bad ![]() But I'd also like to make sure I'm not doing something that would be patently unsafe or unuseable. I'm trying to weigh this option vs. a junkyard pull of some 72 stock disc system. The cost involved with this system is far less--even the core parts from the junkyard will run me probably atleast $200 when all is said and done (have to ship them), and then rebuilding, replacing, and so on will cost far more. This out of pocket, even if I get the rotors drilled by scarebird, would be in the $400 range. However, if its not a safe or adviseable deal, then I'd rather spend a few hundered dollars vs. take unnecessary risks. My car isn't a daily driver, but I do want it to be safe and reliable ![]() MJ |

My '64 Valiant is a daily driver, which is precisely why I've been investigating brake improvements for a while. Lubbock, Texas traffic isn't quite as intense as, say, Dallas or LA, but it has its moments. We're in the same boat, and I also want to proceed carefully. |

SV--Well do you want me to get my hands on the s10 rotor or do you want to get one? Just let me know and we can move forward together! MJ |

If you are going to redrill rotors,,,,why not use a FMJ setup and redrill those rotors....then when you go BBP rear you just change rotors. |

I see a lot of talk about redrilling rotors. I have not seen anything about the size of the hub/wheel center hole. The small bolt pattern hubs are a smaller diameter then the large bolt pattern hubs. If you redrill the large BP hub for the 4 inch bolt pattern, a stock type wheel will have a center hole too small to go on the hub. Some after market wheels, with a large center hole might work. |
