We haven't seen runvs_826 up here in years, so I'm not sure if he still hangs out. I do know that they fuel injected the car and it drove and ran well on the street and at the track (typical times on the 1/4 for NA and a mild build in a heavier A-body)

On my 'mild' build:

Results will vary based on that, the hurricane is slightly shorter in runner length so you will lose some low end torque and shift the sweet spot a little higher so it will come on later on the clock. The 500 cfm carb will act like the primary side of the 600 cfm holley so expect good track times and performance once dialed in,... and about 13 mpg top daily driving....The 390 cfm holley allowed best mileage and passable power due to the staged smaller bores, there was a 1/2 second improvement going from the 390 to the 600 due to the increase in power (less restrictive).

Doc said I was limited by the 1920 Holley Economaster to 160 HP. Since HP was not my goal, but torque was.....I would think the 350 might approach 170 HP. I would hope the Dutra Dual on the front and stock manifold in the rear would increase torque if the primary pipe was long enough before it collected. Doc will have to weigh in on that. Most setups I have seen using Dutra's or Clifford's shorties collect way too soon to make much difference in torque over a modified stock manifold that has been enlarged (ported) to 2.25" on the last 4 to 6" from the flange. When I asked Pete Hagenbuch this question on a tour at Chrysler a few years back he mentioned the magic number on header primary length was 36" or longer to boost the torque for a street car. He said that they really liked 42" on the heavier cars and 3 and 3 was preferred over 6 into 1.

And maybe if Doc will chime in here, would connecting the duals give you more torque over keeping them separate? And what about an x-pipe, do they benefit our engines any?

Timing cover with cam button, from Mike as well
Windage tray stock oil pan
Hookers ceramic, into a Y ,then elec cut out, a single 3'' to TTI tail pipe

Engine had way too much predetonation on the dyno couldn't run it past 4400rpm, had to run 100 octane on the street, wife didn't like it, so V 1.2 was conceived.

Post subject:  Bolt on hop up on high mileage 225.

I haven't seen anything added here in a while so I thought I would post. While this is not a full blown build, it is my experience with in-car bolt on performance enhancements.
My car is 1963 Dart 270 so it is relatively light weight. It has a '68 model 225, push button 904 and a 3.23 open 7.25 differential.
I removed the head to repair a burned valve and had a three angle valve job done and .090" milled off. I added an Offy 4 barrel intake with adapter and a 500cfm holley 2V plus Clifford headers with Y pipe and Magnaflow single in dual out muffler and twin tail pipes. I performed the HEI mod and recurved my distributer. That's when this combination really woke up and ran 16.63 @ 83.4 mph on my G-tech.) Not fast but a huge improvement over previous low 19 second ETs it ran with only the headers and exhaust work. Traction is now an issue with the open differential and 195/70x14 tires.
Again I know this is not a full engine build I thought it might be useful to members that want to add a little extra zip to an otherwise good running stock engine.

Can't believe I never put my engine build on here, so here it is. Mike Jeffrey was told, I want to run 12's on motor in a car than weighed 2800#. He said that was no problem at all. And he was pretty close! :D Best time to date 12.70 @ 104.8.

Early 70's 225 block.
Stock crank with flashing and sharp edges ground off, reground and balanced
Engine bored .085 over
Molnar 7.0" rods and Wiesco pistons. Near zero deck. Block was planed so pistons had to be cut as well.
Cylinder head is from Mike Jeffrey, 1.76 and 1.5 Ferrea valves, Comp Cam springs.
Camshaft was a Oregon cam grind Intake-#732 .571/267@.050, Exhaust #419E .550/262 @ .050, 106
degree LSA, 102 ICL and installed at 99
Rocker arms are a good set of stock rockers, Never any problems
Premium JP timing chain.
Installed one of my (Mike Jeffrey) windage trays and scrapers.
Custom large sump pan with baffle/shelves front and rear. Pan holds 7or 8 qts. I run 5qts 10W30
Pan has a welded in moroso pick up on the bottom of the pan. Oil exits front of the pan.
Oil pump is an old Peterson single stage from Howard Davis
Carburetion is 3X2 Weber 45 DCOE
Running 4000 stall convertor, 904 w V8 internals, stage 3 shift kit
4.30 in a 8 3/4 rear, stock rear springs with one extra leaf and drag radials. No traction bars

Car has been tested from 6000-6700 rpm, Best ET is at 6200
2825# with driver
8.011 @ 84.36
12.70 @104.7
