I measured them at a machine shop to find out what the seat pressure was at my installed height. Then I did, 030,060,090" to see what the pressure was. My buddy also has a formula from one of the mopar book and confirmed the numbers (if we didn't have access to a machine shop.) I will ask him where the formula is located.

Need to redo trans lines and put in drive shaft. Everything else is mostly set. Waiting for the intake to be powder coated. It was supposed to be done last week!

Chrome isn't perfect and I didn't pay for it to be perfect. Wanted the durability.

Wow, I need my shades, blink blink. If it dosent go good (and I'm sure it will) you can just sit at the curb with your hood open and draw a crowd. Cool.

I dropped the crank off yesterday to be cut. I premeasured everything to give a final dimension for all of the journals. Since there are inconsistencies in bearings and crush it is a good idea to do this in advance. If they had taken a straight .010 off of the mains, my clearances would have ranged from .0022" to .0032". Most shops have a book that tells them the high and low limits to be within. Look at main #1 and the thrust#3. There is .001" difference. The line and main saddles were checked on this block and were straight and round respectively.

I also asked to have a groove cut in each of the mains to simulate a full groove bearing since those bearing sets are not available for a slant 6.

*********Bearing***Desired*****Crank
Main*****Measure**Clearance****Final*****Tolerance
1********2.7432****0.0023****2.7409****+/-.0002
2********2.7426****0.0023****2.7403****+/-.0002
3(T)******2.7422****0.0023****2.7399****+/-.0002
4********2.7431****0.0023****2.7408****+/-.0002

The rods were measured as well and a final dimension was given to keep the rod clearances between .0018" and .0022"

just beautiful shaker, for the oil feed line are you just "T'ing" into the oil sender on the back of the OP for oil feed to the turbo ? And how are you running your drain back tube ?

Mike,

I did "T" off of the oil pump for the turbo lubrication. For the return line, I welded a bung into the oil pan (above the oil level).

Same here.

Looks good shaker. You gunna dyno it first or just run it?
The plan is next Sunday to get mine dynoed. Got the bars in today and all I have left are the seat belts and front shocks to install. Didn't make it to the track today. Later Tom

I'm liking your 3 1/2" downpipe. How far are you going back. I may have to change mine.

Everything but the tailpipe is 3 1/2. I bought a 3" tailpipe from TTI since 3.5 was not available.

If I get the time, I'd like to take it to the track first.
