Quote: I always wondered what would happen if I showed up at a SS meet with a '65 Rambler American with a 270" Jeep motor...
As you know it's NOT a slant six. I tried the same sort of logic with my Ford as it does have GM ign and driveline center carrier bearing, wasn't allowed to run in the GM meet. It is technically a six cylinder Mopar... Richard |

C and D unlimited might be tough for you Nick. I may have to circle a few straps around the oil pan and valve cover to keep the thing together. don't worry I'll hold it together the new motor is going to be a forged crank motor with good rods, billet main caps and a girdle,oh and its going to be a 198 |

I think we should have a class for only 2500# blue cars. |

It seems this discussion has had lots of input, and agreement. I propose we make these new classes final and incorporate into the rulebook. Thanks, Lou |

Not so much a "Rulebook" as a set of rules that's been printed in SSRN a few times. Seriously. I've never seen one in print. |

Yes, reprinted in SSRN. We could post a copy in the articles section. Lou |

If I get this new tow motor, would it be possible to have a new class for 5000# and over. Ryan suggested that I race it before I tear the engine out! Rick |
