Replacement boosters weren't available last time I checked (a couple years ago), but converting to a >72 setup isn't hard. Guys with big blocks need the dual diaphragm booster to clear the valve cover (it's smaller diameter, but deeper), but with a slant you can run either option. Hope that helps.

Oriley's has the small diameter booster for 102.00 for 1972 models. This is what i will get. For what ever reason 1970-71 D100's are a PITA to get certain parts for. The computers always say that it did not have drum front brakes. Really. Then why does mine? lol

Fuel cell is done and connected!!!! No leaks thus far. Although I might have to buy an aftermarket gas gauge to work with the cell, or wire in some resistors to get the correct OHMs range from the sender.

Side note: I have a 2007 Mitsubishi outlander with the 3.0 v6, just drove it 1000 miles round trip and it was averaging 26.8-28.2 mpg highway. Not bad for a 7 yr old CUV.

Truck is on the road now. Still have many things to do to it, but I'm taking it to a car show this weekend at the local Steak and Shake. It does 55mph just fine, though I need to clean the cowl out because having a leaf tornado in the cab at 55 is not fun. I'll take more pics of it this week, been raining allot.

20 yr old voltage regulator does not like working well with the lights on. Have to change that now as well. Going to try getting the tach and oil pressure gauge done this week. Work has been hell though, so my motivation to work on anything has slumped a bit (I work on airplanes for my job).

Just finished installing the tach and oil pressure gauges. @800rpm (idle) it has 40psi warm and at 2700rpm (60mph) it is at 50psi. Not bad at all I might add.

So, been driving "Grandpa" to work about twice a week for the summer and it is doing good. Adjusted the valves today, changed the points/condenser, waiting on my timing light to check the timing, got the dome light, reverse lights working, and the horn. Had to check the rear end today because it always has been clunky at very low speeds when turning, and low and behold I have a limited slip diff in the truck. SCORE! Next up is plumb and wire the new window washer setup, wire the lights for the tach and oil press gauge. Have a friend that will sandblast my manifolds and those will be changed out this winter. I'll take some pics later.
