Definitely long pants are needed, and some track require helmets for all cars, but I doubt that for this track.

I'll be leaving in about 2 hrs...

I am at the Quality Inn motel, got in a couple of hours ago. Meril Brunner is at the motel, next door. Weather is pretty iffy. Not raining, at this time, but might start.

I'm guessing today was a washout, judging by the radar and the rain we got up here. Were you all able to run?

Forecast doesn't look any better for tomorrow - is there a rain date?

I'm just an hour and a half or so south of Crossville and it's supposed to rain all weekend here. maybe you can catch a break and have some track time.

Charlie stopped by on his way back thru Chattanooga and we hung out for a bit. He was kinda' bummed out because this is his 8th or 9th attempt to test his new engine that got rained out.

Got home a couple of hours ago. On and off rain most of the way home. I hate towing in the rain.

No chance of a do-over, is there? Rats.

Well, hopefully I'll be able to do Clay City or something. We'll see.

Meantime, I guess I can work at getting all the bugs out of the car.

No one contacted me yet, but I would guess that Mason-Dixon is unlikely to allow us to do a 3rd race at our next event. I will be glad to check with Elmer, but I have my doubts.

Let me know if you want me to proceed.

I will give Clay City a call tomorrow and see if it's a possibility.

The folks at Clay City had no problem at all with us making up the same race last year.
