I don't know what we do now for this race, but we need to have some direction for the future. 5 points can make a difference in a tight race. I will go to the track on Friday as well. |

5 points will be awarded if you go to the track property on Friday (day of the scheduled race). Here is the relevant rule, which is clear to me. "- If a race is postponed and rescheduled for the next day or another weekend, 5 attendance points will still be awarded if your car is in line to enter the grounds of the race track for the scheduled rained out race, or you put your wheels on the track property on the day of the race. If a race is re-scheduled, a new first round ladder including all participants present at the makeup race will be drawn up." Lou |

Yes I believe we are good to go on the rule as you posted. My only question is how far back do we go? If they cancel a week before or 2 weeks before or....etc Good discussion for the banquet. |

If a race is clearly cancelled with a reasonable amount of notice (whatever that is) awarding points for showing up anyway make no sense to me....not looking to take sides or help or hurt anyone....just doesnt seem fair....I suppose a rule with a set time frame for cancellation might be needed.... |

Weather Channel as of this morning... I'll call Gary again, but I'm pretty sure we are pressing ahead. Sat OCT 27 AM Showers High 55° Low 44° Chance of Rain: 30% W 7 mph Humidity: 83% A few showers early with overcast skies later in the day. High near 55F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%. |

Made it! Went to the track, including a drive down Rt. 170 Thawing in my room right now. It will be nice to see that Dart again, scars or not. Now there will be 2 zero-heater, 3-pedal, 4-doors!

We are at the Comfort Inn in Powell. Going to dinner at 5 Guys and then maybe to a movie. |
