Woo-Hoo, it showed up today. And it looks good, they did a good job. So I purchased it from Showcars in Canada, turns out it was built in PA, go figure. Now to trim it, fit the Dzus buttons and see what it looks like.

Hood is getting close! I was going to do a 5/8 inch cut on the back, decided on 1/2, glad I did! A few small adjustments and I should be ready for the Dzus buttons. Will came by today, it was great seeing him! Vixen is here in Texas for the finals of No Prep series. Deb and I are going to help them tomorrow, I will polish the fenders and Deb is going to sell T-Shirts, you know all the important stuff, LOL

It was great to see you Stan and that little gem of a race car. The wagon looks great too! Thanks for the help. Will |

Same here Will. It was great seeing you and Jack. (The Vixen Challenger was in Texas for the finals of the Street Outlaws, No Prep Series.) Sorry I didn't bring any better luck to you and the team. Vixen did well, just didn't make it to the finals. Deb and I stayed and helped pack up the trailer, Man what a lot of work that is! But it was great being a small part of the crew. See you soon, and it will great to line the Colt up against your Barracuda!

So when this car is all down do you think it will get towed to the east or north for a race sometime? If so I would sure like to see that. Greg |

Sorry I haven't been updating my progress on here, but I have been busy. The "plan" is, after the car is sorted out to make as many events as possible. Now that I am semi-retired, cash is an issue, but I really want to tow east and attend races with the car. I towed the wagon to Tulsa and had a great time with the slant racers in Tulsa last month. Reminded me of years past. Right now I am working on the transmission, 4 speed 833. The Lakewood bellhousing adaptation to the slant and flywheel, clutch, starter mounting. Front spindles, disk brakes, and wheels. Hood mounting and bumper repairs. Motor mounts, etc, etc, etc... |
