The roll call ain’t lookin’ too good, but that’s just the way of it. :|

I’m gonna put in a little effort on the Challenger this week.

Reading the tea leaves tells me this might be my last chance to officially re-set Norm’s record…

I'm working on making it, but many things have to come together.

Once again, I am planning on it. But if we can't get 6+ cars for sure, then I'm out.
So we have:

Rick
Jeff
Lou- 1 day
Rob- Maybe
Greg- Maybe
Dennis- Maybe
Charlie- Maybe
Rodney- Maybe
Andrew Shank- Maybe
Ryan - Maybe

Anyway you slice it it ain't good.

Deb and I have a big Southwest Trip planned for the week after.
I really am on the fence about the extra travel right before we leave out.
Right now, Tulsa is my next "event".

I guess I'll have to plan on Rob and his Challenger to give me a beating then.......

I don’t see us having 6 cars, Rick.

So,… if that puts you out…

That leaves me, Dennis and then Lou on Saturday.

I spent a couple hours on the Challenger today.
I had to move the oil pump mount and I started fabricating cross braces to strengthen the front motor plate mounts.
I still need to re-mount the radiator and water pump.

And then all the other schtufff…

If Rick would bring half their normal amount we'd have 6.

Stan, therein lies the problem. Too few of us left, too many miles apart. :(

I Put you on the list Jeff! Glad you can make it. :D

I am still planning on coming. I love racing with our group but I just am not driving 1000 miles to race with 4 people. I don't want to beat the same dead horse, but the people who want to race some day, need to show up. Because once it is gone it is gone.

I updated the Roll Call on the first page.

That’s five…

I’ve got a couple that could be pressed into service if anyone local wanted to take a stab at it.

I’ll ask my buddy Cody Parks if we wants to bring his 68 Barracuda…

Rodney wasn't planning to come because their website does not say anything about the Slant 6 race. I told him there was one and then he said he wasn't sure because school is back in session then.

Whoever out there that is pushing the Slant 6 folks on facebook, now would be a good time for another push on Clay City. Then report back here so we know if any of them are coming.

PS. I just checked the site myself and the Slant 6 race is definitely listed now but only on the 31st?
