I just got off the phone with Marshall Campbell. He is going to put me in direct contact with someone from Wiseco so I can put together a group buy. More to follow shortly.

I talked directly to the Wiseco representative. The kits will be $600-$650 each. There will be about an 8 to 10 week turnaround time once we submit an order. Please post here if you are seriously interested in a set and are willing to put down half upfront.

I will take one set. for Ø3.504" for use with 7.001" rods.

Any info on whether this part # will be available again in the future, or should I stock up now with 2or more sets?

Thank you, Greg

I gave him a rough estimate of interest at about four sets of each size. He said they could re-institute the old part numbers in order to make another run. The price to do just one set in the future will likely be higher…

Starting a Roll Call:

Rick Covalt - 3.504” x 1
Greg Ondayko - 3.504” x 1
Wayne Venable - 3.485” x 1
Terry Littlejohn -
Lou Madsen - 3.485” x 1
Brad -
Matt -
CJ -

Thanks, Rob. I have a set of 3.504" I still haven't used from the very first group buy, so I will ask for 3.465" bore. If they don't have enough at that size, I would request 3.485" bore.

Cheers,
Lou

I would think the part numbers and the CAD / CAM Solid Model Files should still be on servers or drives somewhere at Wiseco.

I think the smaller bore 3.465” pistons are still available. That’s what Steven ordered last year.

This group buy is for the 3.485 and 3.504 pistons.
I will ask about the 3.465 though.

They have the files to re-create the big bore pistons. That makes this faster and easier.

Thanks Rob! The 3.485 is a nice size! That is what is in my race engine now. But that allows someone with a .060 block to go just a little bigger. So I will need the 3.504 bore! If they were available at the same price I may even have gone to .130 over since my block was sonically tested. But probably not worth any additional risk with my car headed for more street driving. :D :D

Let me know where you want the money sent and when! Thanks

Mater - put me down for a set of 3.485. Still thinking about the 3.504. Will let you know before all of this is final. Thanks!

I’ve PM’d anyone that posted in this thread to confirm whether or not you want a set. I’ll give it a few days before I move forward.
