Yeah, I think several of us would be turned off. Even with Clay City's issues last time or two, still better than that London fiasco. I've never seen Charlie or Rob get so mad. Very hard guys to get mad.... Lou |

I was so pissed with the situation, I left Sunday morning (a day early). I will say the track did refund the days entry fee in cash rather than a "rain check".

If London and Clay City are off the table I would be inclined to go further east/south. |

MIR Has an otcober MoPar event. https://goracemir.com/flyers/event/pdf/ ... hedule.pdf Jus' sayin' I have no idea if they would be willing to work with our little group of racers. The track is ~45' Elevation, however. |

I think Clay City still seems the best location wise? Thinking of those in the midwest and Stan in Texas. East Coast would be much closer for me but I'd rather have more cars and a longer trip. One old man's opinion! |

LikewiseOf all the slant six races, about the only track that probably wouldn't work for me, would be Mokan. Even though I would like to race there. |

Clay City seems best to me geographically/centrally and has nostalgia/significance in our Slant 6 racing series for at least some of us. Lou |

We don't necessarily have to have a Mopar show to have a Slant race. Maybe CC can work us in a regular T&T/Bracket weekend. It's not like we consume a lot of time. |

That would likely be better anyway. Not as many people there to gum up the works. The big events sometimes throw a wrench into the program running smoothly. |

It looks like the IHRA really is going to re-open Atlanta Dragway this year (October?), and the North Georgia Mopar Club is planning to be there. Doesn't have to be the big slant six event, but I thought I'd mention it. Last time I was there the Dart ran a 19.7... I think I can do a little better this time. |

It would be fun to try Atlanta sometime. I like the idea of doing our big race at a normal bracket weekend at Clay City. I don't think coordinating with the now fairly small Mopar event (if there is one still) is worth it. Lou |
