I would like to propose a toast to anyone who runs a clifford Weber intake on a slant! That is worse than headers on a big block ford mustang with headers. If you have done one, you know what I mean. Not sure where I left off with progress, but here is the run down up to today. New Strange calipers on the front spindle mount disks. Cam has been re-degreed to what I hope will work better. Retarded about 4 degrees from where it was last year. New head gasket, composite. Head studs on the head. Remflex exhaust gasket. Header flanges ground to be a lot flatter than they were. Transmission has been out to re-seal the counter-shaft leak. Ram Rod shifter levers adjusted to allow more engagement into the transmission lugs 2, 3, and 4th. Electronic distributor advance recurved to 24 degrees. New pick up. That is most of it, hope to be at Xtreme in a couple of weeks for TNT. |

I hope that holds up for you or you may get to do the Clifford intake again! Good luck at the track!

Stan, have you ever used the green Cox Brothers intake/exhaust gasket? |

The Remflex is good for a street car with some slight misalignment. (More flexible) It is however a one use gasket and pretty soft. I wonder how it will last with a race engine and stresses it has due to the low torque they call for. I have reused the green ones 2 or 3 times already. Plus I can crank them down if need be. ( Please don't yell at me and say you should not have to crank them down. I do what works on my car ) Hopefully you will get good service out of it. |

Remflexes do not like a lot of crushing. I am sure you can get if fired up however. Greg |

Might make it out of the driveway! I put about 45 minutes off and on in the driveway today. It really sounds better with the cam in at 102/103 I CL. I think the Webers are tuned about as good as I can tell. Still not happy with the fuel pressure, now I have doubts about the gage. Clutch Tamer is on the way, just have to install it and see how that goes. Here is the most recent Video. https://youtu.be/AVo9iqDptHg |

What is your fuel pressure doing? Is it not holding steady for you? |
