Glad you got it out, Stan! I will never try tuning a car again w/o an AFR gauge. It just saves you SO much time and they are < $200. Get an AEM unit and it will just work for a very long time. I can totally understand going back to a 4bbl. So much simpler. Can't wait to see this car run at MoKan... Lou |

Some random MOKAN musings..... 69 in Oklahoma has to be one of the worst roads. Stop lights, cops, little towns, and pot holes. No wonder Oklahoma folks hate Texas, our roads are better. Why are there so many trains in the middle of nowhere Missouri? In the middle of the night, every 15 minutes it seemed like. One long horn blast, another long horn blast, a short blast, and of course another long horn blast. And then it repeats till the train, thank God, is out of hearing distance. But it was nice to have the little birds land on the truck and wake me up at sun rise. Such nice animals. The people at MOKAN are very nice, super folks. The track, well it could use a little work. I walked it on Friday night, not used to seeing chunks of asphalt missing down track. At least it was out of the groove. And as slow as my Colt was going, it of course was NO problem. Would I go back? You betcha, I had a great time. So good to see Seymour, Lou, The Kendalls, and to meet Joel, Shawn, Hawk, and Steve N. Oh yea, to spend time with Mr. Mopar, Mark Goodman again. Missouri has great roads! But round-abouts? I thought I was back in New Jersey! It's a long way from MOKAN to Anamosa Iowa! But worth it to spend time with Slantzilla, Dennis. He is a big man with a big heart and a big sense of humor! And of course there was a race, I did terrible, but I guess a runner up was a little consolation. The Colt is BUTT SLOW, it was embarrassing, but, there is nowhere to go but up. I mean faster. So 1900 miles later, $400 dollars in diesel fuel and 13 MPG later I have some great memories. |

Around 2240 since the Weber install. They are a few more than the single 4 barrel I had on it. |

I still say there was way more energy expended on that 198 crank than it will ever produce. |

You done killed the chicken for that one. But maybe when you build that 210 you can have a 14 second car. |

You are 500# under me, so with any kind of a good engine you should be in the 12's easily. Sound as though there is something wrong? Wish I could help. |
