I'm really enjoying learning more about the Highland ways, etc.

In addition to my current kilt, my father-in-law is making me a custom sporran (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sporran) with matching leather belt. He carved a celtic dragon on the sporran and has some cool celtic conchos and buckle for the belt. He called me last night and said he found his sgian-dubh (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sgian-dubh), dirk (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dirk) , and even has a claymore (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claymore) I can use... I think the claymore might be a little overkill for a Lemons race though..... :lol:

I guess I need to get some of the other highland attire to compliment what I've already got. I need better socks, shoes, a Jacobite shirt, headgear, etc.

I was really close to ordering a kilt at the Highland games, but just couldn't convince myself to spend the money.

Hmm, a claymore might be useful at a Lemons race. You might need to cut down a radiator hose, or maybe someone has cake.

Unsure if we will make NCM Charlie... We have had some delays and team members with competing priorities.

Adam and Joe worked on ToadRacer Friday and Saturday though. Much progress was made! I'll let Joe fill all y'all in on the cool stuff what they dun. Take it away Joe! :mrgreen:

That's to bad. You guys have put a lot of effort into that car. I wish I could be more help, then just an extra pair of hands, at the track (when I can make it).

Not to worry Charlie. We may not make it to NCM this year, but there are other races (Road Atlanta in December and Barber in February) as well as track days, HPDEs, spirited street driving, etc...

I ain't gonna just let it sit after puttin' so much into it... Kinda like all my other junk... (or not... :oops: )
