I believe Slantzilla has some kind of response AI device that helps him come back with very intelligent responses!

He is not the only one who does not care for fine Italian carburetors.

Well, I can't argue with most intelligent people, but there is no doubt that Webers can work and work well. I am living proof that they can be made to work with a relatively low IQ. :D I guess when you bolt the 4 barrel back on it will reveal whether the carbs are to blame. Keep at it.

Transmission is ok, everything looks ok.
I did some thinking on the shifter, may have found a little help there.
Like the other problems I have addressed, won't know till some track time.

This is the 1-2 shift pin that runs in the slot and drops into the gate to shift 3-4.
It's pretty shallow to me, so I moved it forward.

I got stuck in 2nd at MOKAN.
Weird.

Dave said he wanted a piece of you..........

Well I said that, not him.

That would be something to get his 36 and my 34 on the track together. I would have to build a better motor or upgrade/tune this one to beat him if he's running mid 13s. Prolly run high 13s now at a track like Woodburn...

Dave has some cool stuff fo' sho'
I have never met him unfortunately.

What kind of shifter are you running there Stan.. Looks unfamiliar to me.

Hurst Ram Rod.
It's an inline shifter, not an H pattern.
Has a separate Reverse Lever.
You lift a lever to engage 1st and then it's just back, forward and back again.
Sometimes.

Got it.

More custom than what I am used to.

Good luck getting it sorted out.
