O those. Did they change the name already? I had questions about them. Never really answered.

The no where near reality small block chevy numbers didn't convince me. At best they look like a major flow restriction. Even a backcut makes a difference, how could a steel disk with no tulip shape not affect flow? And just the pressure from the mixture has to push them open. By the time they start to move the valve would be closing. They look like little slide hammers. We all know what a valve spring is like, even a stock one, and they just have to snap the valve closed while pushing against the inertia of the valve train. More weight to deal with closing but it is going to open by itself? What about piston clearance?

There are some things that don't warrant a buildup or dyno testing. We must use our brains first. Even if it's true because we read it on the internet.

Don't think so -- my impression is that MPGMike is marketing them as Powre-Valvez, while the manufacturers themselves call 'em Omni-Valves.
