It's always a pleasure to watch a fast and quick Slant 6 run. Things that make you go, hummmmmmmm? Maybe next year we can all meet up in St. Louis and introduce ourselves to one and other.
We finished up the roll bar today, but I think we should have went with a pillar style setup and just cut the roof off for ease of tig welding. It was a pain in the butt to operate the foot pedal from inside the car.

Seymore Pederson stopped by the shop yesterday for a quick tour and checked out the Duster project. I got quite a kick when he said he "never worked on a car that new before." I wish he could have stayed longer. That man is full of wisdom and knowledge.

No, he didn't. I'm sure that once the car is done, he'll be back with camera in hand. I just wished he could have stayed longer so I could have asked him the ton's of questions I have concerning the Slant 6.

Glad you got together with Seymour. I saw him up there over thanksgiving break - always a pleasure. My bro's family lives in St. Paul, so I'm up there 2-3 times a year.

You know... this is off the 10 sec subject BUT...

Seymour lives a few hour away, and in all honesty, I never heard of him before but since he released the 10 years of /6 racing I can't wait to meet the guy! I am under the impression that him and a few others should get more credit for that they have done for slants!

(NOW... back to the 10 second Duster!)

It didn't make it to the low 70's yesterday as predicted. It is dark cold and rainy today. Mid 40's :P

Today isn't too bad. We finally made it into the double digits but the 30 mph winds are nocking the windchill back down to 0

Is Spring here yet?

I wish. :(

Going down Saturday to put a deposit down on my new bike though. That's kinda springish, isn't it?

Seymour is a great guy, and a real hoot to hang out with. If you want the full effect, take him to Pizza Hut, right Lou? :D :D
