by the way Joshie. that thing looked awesome and that's sweet that you have a conquest. there is a guy by my work who builds em. he has like 15. i tried to buy one a long time ago but the deal fell through.
I'll let Dave know you approve. We parted/scrapped that car about 5 years ago. I don't have the Conquest any more. I had a company vehicle at the time and didn't drive it much so when someone made me an offer I took it. I need to take some pictures of my Valiant to share since it looks so much different with the 17" wheels and tires.

Post subject:  Burnout!

OK, I had to do it. I had my 10 year old son Bert record me doing a burnout in the Valiant with our little Flip video camera. He apologizes for the shaky video. If you've ever used a Flip you'd understand. My 6 year old son Heath goes wild at the end.

Hey joshie what size tires are you running? Im running 245-45zr17 on the rear of my dart. On a good day i could get a one wheel wonder peel going with my factory 2.76. but i havent had it on the road since my axle swap and 3.55 gears.

The Bridgestones work pretty well, but don't seem to have the ultimate dry grip of my older Yokohama AVS Intermediates. I ran both on my '96 Dakota during open track days so they were pushed to the limit. The Bridgestones are more civilized than the old Yokohamas in that they don't climb or track ruts as badly. I got them as nearly new take-offs for $120 after doing the Bridgestone/Firestone commercial tire dealer a favor by fixing his office computer network. I believe the tires were returned by the original purchaser under a customer satisfaction guarantee. The front tires are 235/45R17 and the rear 255/40R17 which is what the late Supra turbo used.

Dude! That was an awsome burn out!

Sprag still intact? Or did you shift to second?

The manual 3-speed is fine, but the clutch is getting weak. The clutch has been marginal ever since the engine upgrades.

You seem to think that a simple burnout is going to frag a 904 and post these intimations freely. Thankfully this hasn't been true for the near dozen 904 equipped cars I've owned.
