Hmmm, exhaust wrap might be a good idea. Thanks for the idea! Cooler temps, longer starter life, and better exhaust velocity. Me likey! |

Careful with the wrap... it makes the pipe bigger. AKA, bolts are a tighter clearance, along with spacing. It also, in my case, rubbed against the shift linkage |

Good point about the wrap; I might use a piece of aluminum as a heat shield for the starter and swap to a ministarter. No linkage to worry about though: manual trans.

Yeh, I'm not so lucky. Adventuly just whent ahead and got rid of those 3 to 1s, though I so wanted to make them work. I'm looking at some DDDs for more of a daily driving (And when I feel adventurious to dreem big... twin turbo) |
