The days are getting closer, so it is now officially time to get excited! The gates open on Saturday at 10:00AM. I am planning to be there then. If anyone comes to the track on Friday night and they let you back into the pits, just try and park in the same general area that we always have. If you are coming and will be late please try and let me know. I would like to have a little drivers meeting with all the drivers at 11:30. We have a couple of things to go over with everyone before the race. They usually open tech at 11:30 and the time runs will start at 12:00.

Sunday is the car Show / All Mopar event and the gates open at 8:00AM. Again I would try and get there early if you can. My wife and I will be providing plenty of food for everyone on Sunday, so you don't have to worry about food. We may actually do it both days but Sunday for sure.

If anyone needs my personal cell number just drop me a PM.

There has been a change to the food arrangements. My wife informed me that she thought that we should go ahead and do the main food items on Saturday instead of Sunday. (And who wants to argue with their wife) So Saturday we will have chicken barbeque, hotdogs, chips and other assorted goodies. Sunday, we will just have hot dogs and chips and whatever else we have leftover from Saturday. We will have a few sodas and a couple cases of water.

The weather looks to be shaping up nicely so here we go!

Well, this weekend will be my first time on a track since Bristol last year. My local track cancelled test and tune tonight without any notice. A bunch of other racers and I showed up to find the gates locked.

I have not had any time to get to a track this spring. I have been working in Asheville, and going back and forth from home for the past 6 months.

Looking forward to seeing everybody! I am bringing along Anna and our dog Dixie. Should be an interesting road trip in the Sixy Beast!

Dan is not coming, he decided it would be to much bringing a car he's never driven out and back in one day.

20-30% chance of showers. that means 70-80% chance we race all day. No one can predict the weather, but Saturday we may be just fine. Sunday is a 50% chance but that may all change by morning.


My car is loaded, and I know some people from far away are already in town. So let's pray for good weather until at least 5PM tomorrow night.
