There is often a lot to gain in the tuneup, but beware the detonation beast. I have been very conservative with my turbo motor since I drive it everywhere. I'm sure there's 50+ HP hiding in there, but I won't search much for it until I get a knock sensor on there, or go for broke...

Looking good. Did you have pump/ pressure/cam gear/ oil gear problems? Or are you being proactive?

no problem with the oil pump gear on the blower motor but I did put the street car engine in the race car to make the last few event last season and hurt the gear and cam lobe next to the oil pump gear. first time I had this happen. this engine was the high compression one that i shifted higher. the blower engine has a new blower cam profile and i wanted to use one of Doug`s harden gear but he was all out and was waiting on enough to make another heat treat and didn`t know when they would be ready so i started searching for some good used belt drive stuff. the oil pump and cam i just replaced are going in the street car engine. when Doug is ready i have a couple of gear to send him.

have to order the belt, was waiting until the mounting was finial ,all so any problems came up like having too change the angle of the lower rad hose. a 22.5" belt is what I need.

Cool.

Man that would be an awesome slanted road trip / ferry trip up to your place.

Almost like going to another part of the world!

Nice set up. The hose routing on my Challenger looks like a bowl of spaghetti in comparison.
