This has been a most fascinating story, and thank you for the Hemmings link also. I can completely understand why such a rare piece was in hiding for > 1/2 century. It's hard to fathom that even two of these managed to be smuggled out of the factory -- must have been quite a feat. Thank you for sharing such an intimate glimpse of this one. (!) It's fun to experience the genuine appreciation (nay, drooling) from a group of knowledgeable enthusiasts, which couldn't have happened 40 years ago, at least not on such a worldwide scale.

I'm sure I'm not alone in waiting with baited breath to see where it will turn up, though I shan't ask. I'm not really concerned with who or at what cost, I'm more interested in what sort of project it finds. Most of all, I'm confident that whoever is in control of it knows exactly how special it is. Let's hope it gets enjoyed before another 1/2 century of dust collects on it. 8)
