He had a dog sitter, and needed to get home to do the Saturday nite live show on Youtizzle.

Good seeing you Ryan and Dennis - Glad you guys made it back without issue.

Greg

No worries Greg.

I just found it weird that it was his event and he showed up late and left early. I can respect that he actually brought his car out and ran it.

From what I have gathered, it was Dallas' (AHRA) event and UT was just supposed to show and be a draw. UT did his job and Dallas and the track were super happy at how the Slant 6 people were so willing to drive, watch, support and respect his event. From the sounds of it, Dallas is going to do it again in some compacity.

I became an AHRA member because of how I saw Dallas' drive to make it great again.

The Slant show was UT's idea, Dallas was the heavy lifter. (Dallas and I go back 35+ years) The bright side is Dallas stuck his neck out and put on a really nice event for us that will hopefully keep growing. :D

Ryan, what is your member number? I am #25.

More useless trivia, I've known Deke the Tech man almost 50 years.

Dallas definitely was the heavy lifter. Not sure of my number, I didn't get anything at the track and email says something was shipped to me. I wish there were closer Slant events to ND but I guess... Maybe I'll show to a few others now that the car is running.

Cool. I would love to make this one. We can plan it into 2022's schedule and space it out from other races (like Clay City).
