Friday evening is more of a test & tune, but Dallas said we can have one of our races (1/4 mile).

Saturday is Mopar versus the World. Again, we work our own race as usual. I’ll take our ladder up to the tower just like every other time we’ve been there.

If you plan to enter another bracket, post here. I’ll ask them to space us out from the other bracket as much as possible. Let me know what you plan to enter.

Apparently they have not been doing Friday test & tunes recently due to some family issues.

I’ll update here as needed.

Rob:
I'll probably run Top ET.
Last time they would not let me enter Sportsman because my car does not have doors.
During time trials, hot lapping was not an issue.

Thanks for the flyers Rob! Good to see Juniors car on there.

I'm not sure if I will run any extra classes or not. I would guess we will though, it seems kinda dumb to tow 7 hours to race with 5 other cars.

Yes me too. Dennis can we run Sportsman or Modified? Not sure what the difference is? One of us might as well win the $1000!

I will run sportsman or modified and I don't care which, but we should decide which one to tell Rob. Probably Dennis' car will fit into Modified better?

Since I have a trans brake in the car I will stay out of Sportsman. I believe Sportsman is No Electronics allowed. (Brake, delay box, 2 step, etc..)

OK, sound good. Let's all plan to do modified then.

I plan on going to Clay City for the 3rd Slant Six race this year!

Friday, August 30th is 1/4 Mile Test n Tune and 1/4 Mile Slant 6 Race, correct?

I also plan to run the Modified Class on Saturday
Saturday, August 31st is 1/8 Mile Modified for me as well as the 1/8 Mile Slant 6 Race Correct?

Reading the Fine print on the flyer, the only class on Saturday that is 1/4 Mile is the Trophy class. Everything else is 1/8 Mile that day. Top ET is a box class. I think Modified could be for foot or trans brake (no specifications on the flier) and the Sportsman is a foot brake class? with Trophy probably being a street car class

Cheers! Greg

No, we aren't interested in 1/8 mile.
Trying to run NETO schedule
Shame there aren't more slant 1/4 mile events
