I’m not as stressed as it may appear. Honestly.

I want(ed) to have three cars there to help with the car count. As long as we get 30 I’ll be happy (maybe 33... ).

I was (am) really hoping for the Challenger to make its long awaited debut at the Reunion, but it still needs a lot of little ankle biter type stuff and I shouldn’t rush it.

The Duster has been the workhorse all these years and has never let me down, so I’ll go with it yet again.

I’m going to put just a smidge of nitrous in it Sunday at Clay City to try and snag that open B/Nitrous record for the 20 points in my quest to catch Ryan for the Championship. Norm will set the record a lot faster, but the rules say if I set it the same weekend (even after Norm), it still counts.

Doesn't matter. It's for the whole weekend.

I probably will not run nitrous that far from home. Also I think my car with me in it might be in c class still need to get weighed. Go for the consistent wins Rob then worry about records. Norm

I think the Dart is lighter than the Duster Norm. The Duster weighs 2,460 without me or the nitrous, so I think I’ll be at the very top of B class. I’m about 190ish.

I’ve never been accused of having common sense when it comes to this car stuff, so why start now?

But like I said, I’m only going to squirt a little smidge (maybe 25-50) Sunday, after the big 50 point race on Saturday. If I put a huge whoopin’ on Ryan Saturday and don’t need that extra 20 points I may save the Nitrous record attempt for later if needed. (that’s assuming Norm or Charlie or no one else sets that record).

I ain’t chasin’ my tail & gittin’ all boogered like some of y’all might think. I’m just hedgin’ my bets is all...

I'm going for "D" Nitrous 1/8 mile, at between 2700-2800 lbs, and a 170 cid

You ain’t chopped liver neither, Rick. If you whoop up on folks & threaten for the title, then the same thing applies.

I’m hopin’ just a dab’ll do ya. I need some fittings and AN line to finish the install. A little more work to do, but I’ll have it ready.

I ordered the little parts & pieces I needed to finish the install (along with the smaller jets for that little "smidge" I mentioned... )

I'm going to need to take a break (and get a second job) after this race season is over...

I got the nitrous bottle filled and began to install the second fuel regulator for the nitrous, but didn’t have enough of the right fittings. Luckily, Competition Auto Machine (CAM) can get the fittings in next week. Nice guys there.

Why 2 regulators? I always used 1 and sprayed at 5 psi. That's plenty for the carb too.

Hell, I'm only running 5 on the Valiant, and am planning on putting in bigger needles and running 3-1/2.
