Can you peen the surface of the shaft with a center punch to give it some teeth to grip that bracket?

Been gone for a while..Just going to throw this out there...I drilled and pinned my webber arms once I had them where I wanted them.
I did have to change the rod a couple of times also.

There are a lot of variables with the different arms, locations and adjustments.
I think just getting the squeeze will fix it.

Still no main case.
Transmission and Colt are sitting, waiting.......

But, and this is the reason I have a facebook page.
This showed up yesterday and then more history showed up today.
I really get a kick out of hearing about the history on my old race car.
