I didn't have nuthin', so I asked Dennis about his junk. He told me Professor Lou had dibs on his, so I went to Amazon & got a Nitrous Express Mainline kit. I'm still fiddlin' with gittin' it all set up, kinda like everything else I do...

I've got a couple healthy 904 converters, but they're bolted to the Duster and Challenger engines. One of 'em I know works... The other one I'm still hopin' to find out... See last sentence above...

Hitting a standard converter with nitrous will raise the stall on it a couple hundred or so...... :?

I got the fuel lines for the nitrous plumbed and tested today. Other than a needle/seat issue that was easily cleared everything went well. I decided to go simple/cheap and just run the one regulator after all.

The nifty steering wheel nitrous button broke, so I need to wire another button and test that side of things. Then I’ll be ready for Mason Dixon. :D

Howard gave me a set of solid motor mounts for the Duster, so I put them in tonight as well. Thanks again Howard!

Does the horn still work? Unplug the horn from the relay and hook the kit to it. It works well, trust me.

It has an aftermarket steering wheel and the horn button is long gone.. :(

I’m putting a button down by the shifter for now.

For these couple 1/8 mile record passes I only plan to hit the button after I shift to second to the finish line. Then I'll let go of the button and sloooowly ease out of the throttle...

Typically on an 1/8 mile pass I hit 6,000-6,300 RPM at the finish... Will adding nitrous change that significantly? If so, I will have to figure out a different finish line strategy... :?

We are loaded up and ready to head to Mason-Dixon!

Angie will be entering the race for Rookie of the Year! :D

With the added weight of the nitrous system the Duster is still in B class, so I’ll be trying for the B/Nitrous record in my attempt to catch Ryan for the Championship.
