We went to fire up the Challenger yesterday for final preparation before the London race. The external fuel pump leaks like a sieve… ![]() |

I sent some of y’all a video of it running. ![]() Angie and I just back from Ohio Valley… We just ran out there real quick to buy some methanol. I got their last 5 gallons. No need to rush to failure. Friday is soon enough. |

We made it to London Dragway. It rained most of the way and test & tune got rained out. We’ll see how it goes tomorrow. 1/4 mile Saturday and 1/8 mile Sunday. I sure would like to make two passes quicker than 11.44 tomorrow and two passes quicker than 7.35 Sunday… We shall see… Don’t worry Cookie! I’ll still be a Poser like you. ![]() |

Car ran like doo doo. I’m too dumb to figure it out. Poser status is secure. |

I enjoyed seeing the challenger again In person. It was a long time since I remember seeing it before and I am not sure that I really got eyes on it like I did this weekend. I might suggest taking the belt off the injection pump, and slap any carb that will fit on the manifold in place of the flying toilet for testing and see if the flutter / misfire is still there running it on a 500/750 carter or 500ish holley on 93 or race gas fed by an electric fuel pump to the carb. If the misfire is still there on the carb / gas then it's the ignition system .... if it goes away then it's the alcohol injection system somehow. Greg |
