nice job! i was thinking of putting a full front mounting plate on the race car!
Your car has the original unibody and stock K member, doesn't it?

The front plate has some advantages, but there is some concern about the weight being supported so far forward and all the way back at the transmission without a mid plate. Having the engine to transmission brace in place is critical.

Howard texted me pictures of the engine yesterday. It's ready to go on the dyno. Just waitin' on me I s'pose...

He swapped on shorty headers and mounted the ignition components to the elephant ears for the dyno runs.

I have a sneaky suspicion that a poor connection at the + coil terminal may have contributed to our maladies as of late.
When I pulled the ignition parts out to take to Howard I noticed that connection was suspect. I had looked it all over before and had considered just replacing all the connectors to help eliminate that potential trouble spot. I just hadn't done it because they all "seemed" fine... We will see in a few weeks...

I'm looking forward to the dyno experience.

Just pullin your leg.
That AHRA inline race sounds like a great idea, don't you think?
I think Dallas might choose Tulsa or MoKan as the track.

Yeah! I’m excited about an Inliner race for sure! :D

I figured any AHRA race would have to be at one of the AHRA tracks like Sikeston.

I talked to Howard last night... They went ahead and put the Challenger engine on the dyno without me.

First pull only netted about 150 HP...

I'll pick it up Monday...
