i'm still digging for that mini usb adapter so i can post some great pictures. Noel says when the weather is nicer (spring) that he will clear out the parking lot & throw us a real proper party @ the shop's expence! and we can light up the hides in the parking lot and tinker in the shop on our cars. so as soon as we get some nice weather back i'll set a date!

see you guys again in a few months!

Thanks so much for the steering wheel Michael!!

My poor car is not running so hot. Brakes in the rear are now doing the shakey bit. So definately was the rims. Now she is running real rough and wants to die at lights. WTF! Can I get a break please?!

ding dong forum has crashed on me last 3 times of trying this out! so i am just gonna show pictures! i ended up with a 2300 - dichromate finish (they where out of shinys) dual #61 jets 500cfm part #04412C. i soaked that air cleaner tin in diesel for 24 hours and it restored it back to decent shape, the fire really took it out. plus the melted air cleaner adapter and air filter was stuck to it.

i'm bringing in a awesome mechanic that specializes in classics and works for a very good shop to set the dizzy & timing for me. he should be here in a hour or so. you can see the fire dammage to the intake paint & i had to replace all the fuel lines, fuel filter and vaccume hoses.

no prob with the throttle cable linkage and after some mods the lokar works great!

Image

i have a manual choke cable on the way, no more electric choke bull $#!+

Image

it's still prurdy!

Let us know what he says about the timing. Have him check for vibration dampener slip while he is in there.

i will do reed, thanks again for your advice! it's running but i am not driving it untill the timing issues are resolved, we should have an open bay in 20 mins then our expert is gonna attack it. tomorrow i am installing the manual choke cable i have a nice pretty mounting bracket for it that is gonna go next to the AC unit.
