Nitti's car made a couple of 11.4X passes and a few in the 11.50 to 11.80 range... it's fast.

Funny story... Viper Class ran before SL6 this year and there were only a few stock Vipers in the class. (Viper owners don't like their cars getting wet when it rains)

So for the time trials, we paired Guzzi & Nitti and put them first in the staging lanes. The Vipers run and then the Slants come out.
Announcer jokingly says: "Let's see how these Slant Sixes compares to a Viper"...
Tree drops, 2 SL6 cars crank-out low 11 second, side-by-side passes, the announcer freaks-out and the crowd chears... fun stuff!

My first pass in cool air I ran a 11.14, weighed the car and and I was under weight for the b record,so that one didnt count for what I was going for.next day I added the weight to bee in the b class, ran a 11.35 cause I didnt get up on the converter and went out first round, did get a .008 lite. All I had to do was make 1 more pass within 1% of the 11.35 pass.Went against Nittis car as a fun run and got greedy on the converter too much and pushed tru the lights.Car was close to overheating was very warm out and I just wasnt thinking clearly.Shouldnt have tried so hard at the line,I screwed myself. Will bee going for A and B records at Sacremento. Was happy that my NEW Hemi ram truck got over 15mpg towing at 70-75.Guzzi Mark

Great job Mark!! And thanks for your honesty. I'm sure you will run even faster when you reset those records. You have got to be thinkin a 10.XX is in your future.

Sprayed all three runs,60 shot.First run definately felt like it hit the hardest. Will weigh bottle tomorrow.NO issues with the system other than I had to clean the purge solonoid,sp,,,.I also went with 4.30 gears and thats not enough, went tru the traps at 6,500 at 116 not pulling.Got to do some math and research and figure out if I should go 4.10 or 3.91.Mark

I always had good luck with 3.91's Mark. You want a long gear to make the motor pull. Everybody thinks of nitrous in terms of HP, but it's strong suit is torque, and lots of it. :D

Just found out from Seymore that I did get the B nitrious record, cant use my 11.34 run at 116.80 because I didnt back it up within 1%,but the 11.568 at 116.47 DOES count.I definately will bee trying to lower that after I try for the A nitrious et record at Sacremento. Not possible for my car to get the A nitrious mph record.Mark

Forced induction doesn't require as much gearing as N/A, plus a higher gear will pick up your MPH.
