Reed, just wanted to thank you for the link to the choke adapter. It worked like a champ and I never would have known the arms were different lengths so thanks again. This truck is slowly starting to come around and I enjoy deiving it more and more every time. I have a Durango for towing so this thing will stay slanted. |

I've repaired cracks like that with some success, but if you have another crackless manifold that's the better way to go. All manifolds are interchangeable. |

Happy to help! That little adapter arm is a nifty invention. I can't take credit for its invention though. Another board member thought it up and sent me pictures of it. If it isn't too late, the exhaust manifold from the Valiant should work, provided you either (a) cut the back wall of the choke pocket out or (b) run a CarbsOnly electric choke conversion kit. |

I should have thanked all who have chimed in to help me, its much appreciated. If it isn't too late, the exhaust manifold from the Valiant should work, provided you either (a) cut the back wall of the choke pocket out or (b) run a CarbsOnly electric choke conversion kit. I didn't think about the choke aspect of the manifold. I'll check the yards, sure to be a good one in there somewhere. Gotta pull the transmission and replace the rear main seal as its leaking pretty good. |
