It'll depend on the market for parts...here in Oregon currently...

Plug and Play A-833OD $600 ($275 if you like to gamble and don't mind the whine and hope it shifts right...)
Plug and play A833 $1000+
Looks like T-45's for a Mustang Cobra are running $500-800
Corvette T-56 around $1200+
350Z transmission about $900
Late Ford Mustang 6 speed $2000-2200

Rick,

I haven't been able to find an "official" torque rating for these transmissions, however, there are guys racing with over 800 lb-ft of torque. There are a lot of variables that go into that rating, but I'm confident it will hold whatever my little slant can put out.

I have the transmission fitted to the engine and under the car. I have cut the floor and torsion bar cross member out so that the transmission can go all the way up to level. I believe I now need to set the angle of the transmission and build the transmission cross member support, but how do you go about actually setting it? What do you reference from? I know the transmission and rear end angles need to correlate. I am putting a Ford 8.8 from an Explorer behind it so I was planning on setting the rear end's angle to match the transmission after it is in place, but I'm not sure how to set the transmission to start with. I'll post pictures in the next couple days.

Can you bolt the OEM lower crossmember in and make measurements from that? That's how I would do it. Otherwise, center the trans output shaft side-side in the trans tunnel and then get the driveshaft angle (up-down) to work with the rear end. The engine/trans axis is angled down something like 3 deg from the factory.

That was my plan, but if there was a way to do it without pulling the transmission again, I was going to try that.
