Sorry for you Charlie. I know you were really looking forward to coming. Take care my friend!
I think I should just give up trying. Always something. This time I thought I had everything arranged. Racecar seemed OK, truck and trailer ready. Arrangements made for Pegs care, and she refuses to go to the assisted living facility.

Ah, sorry Buddy. We should meet again sometime. I will get in touch with you bout that 741 case. Maybe we can work out shipping.

Only about an hour away from KD now.

Thanks, Greg

Friday Nite:

I believe we had 12 cars. Jeff Kendall was not 2 slow and he brought his buddy with a super clean '67-'69 Valiant 2-door Post car from the Tulsa / Broken Arrow Ok. area as well.

The Gill's were there with the Lab Rat ~73 Dart. RichMc was there with his super Clean '76 Scamp Special as well as the Covalt Clan fielding an '86 Truck and the '65 Valiant. Isiah Bruner drove Gary Bruner's '64 Valiant 2 door in the race also.

Lou may post a full Friday bracket and recap. Cell Service for me at the Track does not work.

Ruster somehow made it through all the Rounds and Won the Friday Final as well.

There is another race today/tonight.

I’m sitting here in my living room watching three of my four boys assemble birthday presents for Angie.

I’m lovin’ life.

I’m sorry I’m missing the race though…

Along with missing the Lemons race in Bowling Green…

Gotta have priorities.

Peg has to come first, Charlie.

What a great weekend! Had a blast on my first drag racing outing. My car ran very consistent 10.4X times and I'm super anxious to try again at some home tracks and to come to the Slant Six events again next year. Thanks much for the warm welcome to the whole group!

That’s great Rich! Let’s plan on meeting up at Ohio Valley or US 60. I want to try for a 6 second pass before the season is over.

Made it Home about 10 AM Sunday, after Leaving ~9:30 PM in Maynardville. What a fun Weekend.
Thanks Guys, I will share some more once I get all of the digital stuff sorted.
I will be able to make it to Ava's Voice Recital this afternoon.

I'll look at their calendars and PM you soon about a few potential dates so we can make it happen!

How'd the final results come out?

We did make it in time for a few 'ritas at the Mexican restaurant before they closed, which capped off an excellent weekend.

Hello Rich, For the Second Race on Saturday the Semi and final rounds went like this:

Semi:

Mark C. ('60 Valiant) Bye run
Lou M. ('68 Supercharged Dart) Vs. me in the Ruster
Ruster wins the semi-round.

The final is Mark C. and me in the Ruster. This is the first time Mark C had made it to a final round in a slant 6 Race! Congrats Mark!

For the final, Mark Broke out with an 11.14 on an 11.32 Dial-in.

Ruster takes the win on Saturday.

Greg

I will post some pictures when I have time to type up something meaningful.

In the meantime, Here is My album from the weekend. I believe I got most of the cars that ran, except for the Grey '86 truck and the '66? Plymouth Fury.
