I am kinda excited about getting the Valiant out this year a couple times. It sat all last year, so it needs to be run. It needs a little carb work and we're finally going to get the 5.13 pig in it. Hoping for some high 7 second 1/8th mile runs.

Man, it would be great to be together at a track and get the 'ol Slants going down the strip. Hopefully the Clay City thing can happen. I need to work on that more... All the best, Lou |

Got together with my cousin Chad and his son Taylor today. Got the car up and pulled the 4.86 out and put the 5.13 in. I brought the driveshaft home to put some new U-joints in it. We'll button it up next weekend. Got to change oil and throw some jet in the carb and we may actually be ready for opening day.
