I tried to start the race car about 2 weeks ago and it cranked and tried to start but kept shutting off! What happened! All it did was set in the garage for 3 months! Open trunk and look in gas tank. Yeah it was bone dry. 5 gallons of gas later and a little charge to the battery and it fired right up on high idle sat there and run like a champ. Some day soon I will pull it in and change the metering rods and it should be ready to race! I like being ready at least 2 months ahead! Sorry to say not all of my family are the same! |

A large wooden box from Lexington Nebraska showed up at my house. I wonder what that could be! Thanks Mike! Can't wait till I have an engine worthy to install it on. 3 sets of rings were ordered for Ryan and my pistons. Then the crank for my new "big bore" engine which is at the machine shop will be balanced. Rick |

Repaired the Antifreeze leak on the lower intake studs and got everything back together this evening. Warmed it up to temp and did not have any leaks. Ran the valves one more time and checked the torque on the Head gasket. Maybe I am ready to race now finally!! If I just didn't have to work, it would sure make getting ready to race easier. |

You better watch it Zilla! I always thought that these early A bodies were much better looking than the early Mustangs! Yes I know I am in a very small minority. It's mine and I like it, that is all that matters. Rick |

I had mine for 15 years. I thought it was ugly the day I bought it, and ugly the day Yo-Yo hauled it off. |

Preach on, Rick! I bought my 65 when I was 14 and I still think it's the best looking car on the road. I think zilla's was a 66, wasn't it? They ARE ugly by comparison. |
