Ordered some stainless bolts and speed clips from McMaster-Carr tonight. We will be mounting the floor pans Saturday, and I will be able to mount the nose back on it when the firewall is in. |

Put up some new pictures on Moparts today. Patrick has the firewall almost done. A little seam sealer and paint and then it goes in for the headers to get built. After that it comes home for wiring, plumbing, and a drivetrain. |

Jeff Long was over this morning to pick up his Dart and the Cordoba I traded to him. The Doby is going to be his son's first race car. Jeff also took the header flanges with so that when Patrick buttons his end up it can go to Jeff. I also added some pictures of the car with the nose back on in the Moparts thread I posted at the front of this thread. |

It's finally out of Patrick's shop. Went down yesterday and took it to Jeff Long's shop in Paxton for the headers. Jeff has a set to build for a Cummins diesel in a pulling tractor then he will do mine. Only downside is that he can't get 1-5/8" tube anymore, so mine will be 1-3/4". Primaries will be at least 30" long, 3X2 style. Oh well, guess I'll just have to boost it. |

Headers are done, car is sitting in my shop once again. I brought these home to do the final "massaging" to get them to line up with the head/manifold before they go in for coating. Thanks Jeff! |

Yes, 1-5/8" is just right for the majority of Slants on the planet. |
