Thanks to Rick & family for the great spread ! Lancer was great going a tenth quicker than last year . We are real proud to go so good with a carburetor and 4 speed on pump gas .must be one of the faster cars in the country with that combo ! thanks to all for a great time. Here are some photos. We have some "different" people in the Covalt clan as the pictures will show.  Ron Hamby - Saturday winner!  Brian Mimken got a bucket of goodies from our local Advance auto & @ $100 for his R/U  The Final - Saturday  Lou Madsen Sunday winner  Denny Covalt- R.U Sunday in his truck named "One Stack Mack"  Sunday's Final  Aaron Heath & Grandpap Ron came all the way from Maine again! running mid 12 seconds.  Some interesting folks in our family!!  The next generation of Covalt racers is coming along. The one on the right has her race face on!  My wife and her 1st cousin Brian who Loves to come and watch us race! He helped me pull the random ladders and did a great job!  New generation of tuners will be using laptops! And have an assistant. Not me!!  Romeo Furio in his dart  Dan Gravatt drove this land barge to 21.99 ET's  Will's Cuda showed evidence that something was wrong up top. All the push rods and rockers were in place. He suspects the head gasket blew and bent the valve cover! |

All those trucks makes me miss mine  Makes me also think id better get a nick name for mine too given we got one stack Mack. Got about 40 days till I'm home so as long as school don't mess it up Ill see everyone at the fall race taking on the 21.99!
