I got over to the track tonight.
They were packed.
First run just driving it out, 8.7 @ 85.47.
That was a .2 second, almost 8 MPH from best run in 2023.
Second run, left a little harder, hooked right but I got it straight.
8.49 @ 87.75.
The winter engine program has given me some real good numbers compared to last year.
Half second in ET and almost 10 MPH.
60 foot times were not great so I feel there is a lot more in this engine.

Sounds like good progress Stan! With that mph you should be able to run at least 7.80s. Congratulations!

That's more like it!!! Any ideas as to why it tried to hang a right? Just track condition or....?

No right now I don't know.
I am going to do some thinking on the ladder bars.

Greg
Did I mention they were PACKED?
I sat in the lanes for an hour just to get the second run in.

Since this was the first time out with the new engine, I didn't want to flog it any more till I look at the engine.
New rockers, head gasket torque, oil change again after the milkshake fiasco.
Just CYA.

The Crow was there from Street Outlaws running his no prep caddialc.
It was a ZOO.

Thanks Dennis.
It felt good to know that I would have been able to give you a run for the Money.

There is more there in the engine.
The chassis needs some attention now.

Yes, you said it was packed.

It can be hard to get data off of 2 runs when the car is cold. Hope it all checks out well!

On Sunday at Mason Dixon we were getting 1 run every 45 min or so if not faster than that when double-entered in multiple classes.

I got 9 runs in 5 hours. Better than almost any test session ever at my home track. they are slooooōōōōōōōōōōōōōōōōōōōw.

If they were running street cars and that no prep crap it was probably the track.

Nice improvement, Stan. Seems you are on the road to good times with the Colt.

Yep, after building Ruster it first ran in the 13's on the "built engine"

You will get it sorted. You just need to make a lot of laps.
