i am planning on puchasing a bearing and piston ring kit for my 225 from either kragen or auto zone. which one do you guys think would be the best?

I'd contact Northernautoparts or PAW for the rebuild kit, unless the others can get them to you for about $350+/-...

I agree with DusterIdiot. I have always had good luck with PAW and they are right on with their prices. They use good parts and a easy to deal with. I rarely get parts from the big "discount" part houses. They rarely employ people with the know how to get you the parts you need for a long lasting, quality rebuild. Just my 2 cents. I would look into PAW.
