Hi

Does anyone know if it is possible to re-jet the stock carter 2 barrel carb for more flow on the super six set up?

Mine has (I think) two 120 size jets with 2228 size nedels

Would bigger jets deliver more powere or would it just have the car running rich all the time??

Idears?

Rejetting does NOT give "more flow". It gives more fuel. There is no reason to rejet the carburetor; the stock jets are correct for most any street-driven configuration. If you want "more flow", you need a different (larger) carburetor.

Um...why do you want "more flow"?[/i]

it is possible i tore apart 2 bbd's and them got parts from 4 more that were torn apart i used the biggest jets i had in the mess of parts but haven't got the engine together to run it yet i think mine are 160's from what i could make out on them and i had some 220's to you could smooth out you openings but i have been told it is a waste of time but i did it anyway it might help a little just don't go to crazy make sure everything will seal up or your carb is junk
