Are you sure the oil isn't coming from the Valve cover gasket?

If it's near the front, it could be the alternator bracket hole (if your bracket's gone), which is open to the outside.

What type of sealant did you use on the gasket? Where did you put it?

i have found leaks from the timing cover seal. fuel pump gasket, oil pump gasket, and the various bolts that tap into the motor before, all were decieving.
