Hi, how many MPG are you getting with your fuel injected slant 6? What kind of F.I system are you using? Thanks, Kyle.

My '64 Dart averages 24mpg @ 75mph on the hwy with TBI/Megasquirt system and a 5 spd trans (2.46 final drive ratio in OD). It also makes around 250 HP at the crank and runs low 14 sec 1/4 miles...

I expect MP-EFI might gain another 1mpg and some additional driveability, especially at lower RPMs.

Thats awsome! The megasquirt is just a controller right? What existing F.I setup is the best to get parts off of? Thanks, Kyle.

Look at Bob D's article on this site. He has a good junkyard setup. I have a mish-mash that's going on my '68 Dart (MP-EFI) soon, and I have posted some details if you search "EFI". I'll post more when it's running.

Well, on my Dart, I'm planning to adapt a BMW 528 throttle body to a Super Six manifold. Haven't decided on a fuel pump or regulator source. I will be using Toyota Supra Mk III Turbo injectors, which are about 42 lb/hour. You'd probably want smaller injectors for a naturally aspirated slant six. And it will use the same sort of sensors as many GM products use - the Megasquirt's original design is to use these sensors but it can be reprogrammed to handle others. Basically, when you've got a Megasquirt controller you can grab parts from whatever seems convenient. You could use a single donor car if the injector size is right - even if it's a V8.
