I have a 64 Dart and I want to install a front swaybar setup from a 66 Barracuda. Besides the LCA the K member is different too it has 4 holes in it to mount the swaybar brackets, is there any problems using a K member from a 66 on my 64. |

You can do that, but it might be easier to just drill those holes in your '64 K. You could make a paper/carboard template using the '66 as a guide. Lou |

Just wondering; where are you located?? I have a whole K frame from a 65 Cuda with 10" brakes and a factory sway bar too! K frame, upper arms, lower arms, spindles, drums, and all! Still has the steering box attatched too! (aluminum manual) I am near Chicago. |

I thought about just drilling my K member, but I would probably need to remove it to drill it accurately. Its not that much more work to just do the swap. Also the donner car will be apart so it wont be to bad getting the K member out |

I have known people who just position the sway bar brackets onto the face of the K-frame and then weld them down. This makes future bushing replacement hard but then again, those bushings are welded into the bracket anyway.... just a thought. DD |

I am not sure what parts I am going to use, the bushings are blown out of the stock mount. I will need to find some sort of replacement at the vary least. My neighbor ordered a Quickor swaybar I want to see what kind of mount it has for the K member. I might end up just using the control arms from the Barracuda and buying a new Quickor bar. Also were there any improvements to the K member between 64 and 66? |

All the 62-66 K-frames are the same, except for those sway bar mounting holes and some general "workmanship" variations. (sloppy welding on some units) DD |

I did some searching and found replacement bushings for the front swaybar. $$$ so if I want that "factory" look I can have it....but how good is a 39 year old factory sway bar? |
