Go the drums off my 68 dart front end. As I suspected the shoes and drums are brand new. Just need to know,,, Does the LONGER shoe go at the front or the rear ? I'l also getting ready to bleed the system at all four wheels and at the master cyl, and adjust the brakes at each wheel. But I'm wondering if the shop that did the brake work put the shoes on backwards. Right now the longer shoe is at the back. Thanks Scott |

| Post subject: | primary vs secondary shoes |
The primary shoe has the short lining and goes toward the front of the vehicle. The LONGER lining is the secondary shoe and goes toward the rear. So it was put together correctly by the last mechanic. |
